Warm Up Your Winter With Burlington Pickleball’s Frozen Paddle Challenge

By Ali Yenchic

Winter in Burlington just got a whole lot more fun.

Burlington Pickleball Complex is in the midst of hosting its first-ever Frozen Paddle Challenge, an 8-week, points-based challenge designed to keep you moving, meeting new people, and improving your game — all winter long. Best of all? It’s totally free and open to all players ages 18+.

From December 1 through January 25, earn points by playing, learning, and getting involved at the Burlington Pickleball Complex. Hit 30 points, and you’ll score an exclusive Frozen Paddle Challenge long-sleeved T-shirt — perfect for chilly court days and showing off your winter grind.

“Winter can make it tough to stay active, but we wanted to give players a fun reason to keep showing up,” said Burlington Pickleball General Manager Rachel Vinson. “Whether you’re brand-new or a regular, the Frozen Paddle Challenge is all about community, consistency, and having a blast on the courts.”

The complex also gave a huge shoutout to their local partners at In Motion Wellness Studio for sponsoring this program. Every Frozen Paddle Challenge participant is eligible to enjoy a complimentary 30-minute stretch session — the perfect way to recover, improve mobility, and keep your body feeling great all winter long.

How It Works

For those looking to stay active, stay social, and keep their paddle warm this winter, getting involved was simple. Register through the CourtReserve app, then play and participate each week. Completing challenge activities at the complex earns you points. Hit 30 points or more by January 25, and you’ve officially completed the challenge — T-shirt earned, bragging rights unleashed.
