An annual summer hoopsfest is back and bigger than ever, organizers say.
A record 56 high school junior varsity and varsity girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will light up the Rocky Mount Event Center on Tuesday and Wednesday at the fourth annual Rocky Mount Summer High School Jamboree. The event is put on by the event center and the city of Rocky Mount’s Parks and Recreation Department. It is sponsored by Choice FM.
Doors to the event open at 9 a.m.
