The Woodman’s Sports & Convention Center will be Janesville’s leading indoor facility come September 2025. Offering 139,650 square feet for large-scale athletic, entertainment, and community events. Featuring the Main Arena with a 1,500 spectator capacity, a versatile Multi-Purpose Arena, and a 25,800-square-foot Flexible/Convention Space, it significantly boosts the local economy while enhancing community well-being.
The Woodman’s Center is an expansive facility covering approximately 139,650 square feet, including its mezzanine level. It houses three distinct areas designed for a wide range of activities.
The Main Arena, known as Mercyhealth Arena, can accommodate up to 1,500 spectators and includes standing room around the upper mezzanine. This arena features year-round ice, catering to youth hockey, figure skating, high school teams, and NAHL team events, as well as public skating and various other activities.
The Multi-Purpose Arena, with a capacity for 250 spectators, offers a versatile space that transitions throughout the year; it provides ice for six months and then shifts to a sports court or hard court flooring and indoor turf for the remaining months.
Additionally, the Flexible/Convention Space spans 25,800 square feet and is perfectly suited for hosting trade shows, conventions, expos, banquets, and community events. This space also accommodates basketball and volleyball courts, pickleball, and open gym sessions.
The Woodman’s Center is thoughtfully designed to ensure versatility and continuous use, making it an ideal venue for both sporting and community activities year-round.
